19-09-2017 Heard Sri Sumant Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Upendra Kumar, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor.
The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 10-07-2017 in Brahampur P.S. Case No. 197 of 2017 registered for offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, has prayed for grant of bail.
It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that from a dilapidated house of one Tarkeshwar Sah, recovery of about 161 liters of Indian make foreign liquor was shown and petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. Considering the nature of accusation and period of custody, let the petitioner namely Prince Singh be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with
