JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 19-08-2017 Heard Sri Shailesh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 28.06.2017 in Barachatti P.S. Case No.381 of 2017 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a), 38, 47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, has prayed for grant of bail. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a student and while returning, he had taken lift in OMINI vehicle, which was intercepted by the police and subsequently, huge quantity of country-made liquor and Indian Make Foreign Liquor was recovered and, thereafter, the petitioner and driver of the vehicle were arrested.
