The petitioner, invoking writ jurisdiction of this court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, has prayed for directing the respondents for providing facilities in view of the fact that petitioner was granted gallantry award. By way of filing supplementary affidavit, it has been stated that after gallantry award the petitioner has been granted certain facilities, however, other facilities have not been provided to the petitioner. The petitioner, of -course at the time of filing of the writ petition had not filed any document to show as to whether he had demanded justice before the authority concerned or not.

Patna High Court CWJC No.8812 of 2008 (3) dt.13-04-2015 2/2 By way of filing supplementary affidavit a communication has been brought on record vide Annexure - 4 to the supplementary affidavit, wherein, petitioner has demanded justice before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna.

In view of the facts and circumstances and the nature of relief sought for in the present writ petition, instead of going into the merit of the writ petition, the court proposes to dispose of the present writ petition with an expectation that the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna may take appropriate decision on the representation i.e. Annexure - 4 to the supplementary affidavit filed by the petitioner. The Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna, may take final decision on the representation of the petitioner preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order.
