2. Heard learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

3. The petitioner has filed the present petition for initiating the contempt proceeding against contemnor for violation of the judgment/order of this Court dated 15.03.2024 passed in Civil Misc. No. 102/2024 whereby and whereunder the opposite party no. 1 was directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the order.

The learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that after filing of the contempt petition, it has come to the notice that the Presiding Officer has been transferred and a new Presiding Officer has joined and he seeks permission to withdraw the present petition while seeking direction to the learned trial court to expedite the trial and dispose of it within next six months.

6. From perusal of record, it transpires that vide judgment/order dated 15.03.2024 passed in Civil Misc. No.102/2024, having regard to the decision of the Hon'ble

Patna High Court MJC No.2023 of 2025(3) dt.08-08-2025 3/3 Supreme Court in the case of Yashpal Jain vs. Sushila Devi and Ors., reported in 2023 SCC OnLine SC 1377 wherein the Hon'ble Supreme Court issued certain guidelines for all courts of the country for expeditious disposal of the civil suits, the learned trial court was directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the order.

7. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that till date, only issues have been framed. Therefore, it is clear case of non-compliance of the orders of this Court.

8. However, considering the submission of learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the learned trial court is granted further time of six months for disposal of Title Suit No. 33/2015 pending before it.

9. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of.
