JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 25-06-2019 Heard Mr. Rama Kant Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Dev Kumar Pandey, learned AC to GP2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the District Magistrate, Gaya has not disposed off the appeal preferred by her against the order passed by the District Programme Officer, Gaya in Anganbari Case No. 51 of 2018,

Patna High Court CWJC No.12357 of 2019(2) dt.25-06-2019 2/3 till date even when such memo of appeal was filed on 24.12.2018.

It appears from the record that the petitioner as well as the private-respondent no. 9 had applied for being considered to be appointed as Anganwari Sevika at Anganwari Centre, Regani in the district of Gaya. It is the claim of the petitioner that on wrong mapping register, the private-respondent no. 9 was recommended for being appointed and was appointed on such post. A complaint was lodged with necessary details by the petitioner before the District Programme Officer, Gaya, who, vide his order dated 26.11.2018 contained in memo no. 2370, rejected such complaint of the petitioner. As noted above, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the District Magistrate, Gaya on 24.12.2018 but till date, no decision has been taken on the aforesaid appeal. Under the aforesaid circumstances, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the District Magistrate, Gaya to dispose off the appeal preferred by the petitioner, after hearing the parties and other stake-holders, within a period
