The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to pay interest over Rs. 16275/-, the amount which was paid to him after inordinate delay and without there being any plausible reason for such delayed payment.

A representation also has been filed by the petitioner to the Executive Engineer, Rural Works Departments, Works Division, Bettiah, West Champaran, which has yet not been disposed off.

Patna High Court CWJC No.13859 of 2019(3) dt.18-07-2019 2/2 The petitioner, under the aforesaid circumstances, is directed to make a fresh representation before the concerned respondent, namely, the Executive Engineer, Rural Works Departments, Works Division, Bettiah, West Champaran (Respondent No. 3), within a period of four weeks, who, on receipt of the same, shall examine the facts and pass a reasoned order in accordance with law, within a further period of six weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed off.
