JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 07-02-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For issuance of appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions commanding the respondent authorities to consider the application of petitioner for the post of Peon in pursuance of advertisement floated by Punjab National Bank under the signature of respondent no. 4 on 07.03.2021 and since petitioner is a permanent resident of Jehanabad District and having required qualification of matriculation and Intermediate, submitted duly filled up form but
Patna High Court CWJC No.16080 of 2021(2) dt.07-02-2024 2/2 his name has not been shortlisted in the merit-list though he has 92% in his 10th exam and 58% in Intermediate examination.
(ii). For issuance of appropriate writ / writs, order/orders, direction/direction for quashing the merit list dated 15.07.2021 circulated for the applicant of Jehanabad District and called the short listed candidates for verification of their certificates and petitioner reliably learnt that many candidates have lesser marks in comparison to him were called for verification of their document to be held on 26th July 2021."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Respondents authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
