The petitioner is aggrieved by the order dated 30.7.2013 of the Registrar Co-operative Societies passed in Dispute Case No. 18 of 2013 whereby the Registrar while rejecting the prayer made by the petitioner to restrain the respondent who is the writ petitioner herein from discharging duties of a Chairman of the Co-operative Societies has further issued direction that the Chairman would not carry out any

Patna High Court CWJC No.8152 of 2014 (2) dt.07-09-2015 appointment during the pendency of the dispute. In my opinion, the discretion exercised by the Registrar suffers from no infirmity warranting any interference. The writ petition is disposed of.

However considering that the dispute appertains to the year 2013 and is yet pending adjudication, the Registrar Cooperative Society would be well advised to consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within six months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order.
