The petitioner seeks bail in Ahiyapur P.S. Case No.59 of 2017 registered for the offence under Section 392 of the I.P.C. Allegation is of snatching of Scorpio vehicle from the informant and later on the vehicle was recovered from the garage of the petitioner and it is alleged that the petitioner was about to sell the vehicle.
Submission on behalf of the petitioner is that the vehicle does not belong to the petitioner. Though he is accused in two cases but in both cases he is on bail. The petitioner is in custody for the last twenty months..
Heard the learned A.P.P. also who opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioners.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53148 of 2018 (3) dt.05-10-2018 2/2 Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances of the case, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude it as soon as possible.
Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
