Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 385, 387, 379, 504, 307/34 of the IPC.

As per the prosecution case, these two petitioners demanded ransom and assaulted the informant and his son on account of which both of them sustained injuries. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. Case and counter case. Admittedly,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43219 of 2022(2) dt.01-12-2022 2/2 during the occurrence a scuffle took place on account of land dispute between the parties. Petitioners have got no criminal antecedent.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the injuries caused by the petitioners are grievous in nature.

Considering the nature of accusation and nature of injuries caused by the petitioners, prayer for bail of the petitioners is refused with direction to the petitioners to surrender and seek regular bail, which would be disposed of on its own merit without being prejudiced by this order.
