Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Rajpakar P. S. case no. 67/2016 registered under section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner happens to be father-in-law of the deceased who died within four years of her marriage in other than normal circumstance. There is allegation of illegal demand as well as torture. Moreover, it would appear from perusal of the written report of the informant that prior to institution of the present case, deceased had filed complaint case for the offence under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code against the petitioner and others. Regard being had to the facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on anticipatory bail and accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31656 of 2016 (3) dt.15-11-2016 connection with the above stated case stands rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders within four weeks from today and seeks regular bail, this order shall not cause any prejudice to the concerned court.
