Mr. Dixit, appearing for the petitioner, submits that in light of the judgment of the Apex Court in the case of Union of India vs. Gramin Bank Pensioners Samiti & ors. in the proceedings arising out of Special Leave to Appeal (C ) No.

Patna High Court CWJC No.10388 of 2010(9) dt.01-07-2019 2/2 39288 of 2012 the issue stands settled in favour of the petitioners.

Portion of the Apex Court judgment relied upon by Mr. Dixit is being reproduced herein:- "In view of the order passed in SLP (C ) No.

39288 of 2012 no separate orders are required to be passed in W.P. (C ) No. 210 of 2013 and T.C. (C ) No. 38 of 2015. They are, accordingly, disposed of with directions to the Union of India to implement the judgment in respect of all the regional rural banks expeditiously and at any rate within three months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment."

He submits that in light of judgment of the Apex Court he would be approaching the authorities for relief of computer increment and refund of amounts recovered from petitoners.

In light of the aforesaid development subsequent to filing of the writ petition no order need be passed separately in these proceedings.

In light of the judgment of the Apex Court it will be open to the petitioners to claim benefits as per their entitlement. The writ petition stands disposed of.
