This modification application has been preferred for modification of the order dated 03.03.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 52564 of 2015 by which petitioner was granted anticipatory bail in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 24 of 2015 pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge 1st, Patna in the event of his arrest or surrender within a period of eight weeks from 03.03.2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had taken ill and was suffering from jaundice and was advised bed rest for three months, hence, could not surrender and furnish bail bonds within the time granted vide order dated
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34864 of 2016 (2) dt.17-08-2016 2/2 03.03.2016.
In the circumstances, time to surrender granted vide order dated 03.03.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 52564 of 2015 is extended for a further period of eight weeks from today and the said order is modified to the extent indicated above. This modification application is, accordingly, allowed.
