3. The application of the petitioner for renewal of his arms license is pending for consideration before the District Magistrate, Patna even though there is a direction of this court to consider the same within four weeks.

4. The State is directed to dispose of the pending application of the petitioner within four weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order, failing which appropriate
