Mr.Navin Kumar Pandey ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL ORDER 17-07-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with Janta Bazar P.S. Case No. 09 of 2019 for the offences alleged under Sections , 30 and 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 (for short 'the Prohibition Act, 2016') having earlier been rejected by this Court by order dated 14.02.2019 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 8719 of 2019.

3. At the outset it is observed that the matter relates to offence under the Prohibition Act, 2016 and the petitioner's earlier attempt for grant of anticipatory bail was rejected on the ground that such prayer was not maintainable in view of Section 76(2) of the Prohibition Act, 2016,

4. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court sees no reason to take a different view in the matter. The petition stands dismissed.
