The petitioner seeks bail in S.Tr. No.193/2018, arising out of Dariyapur P.S. Case No. 11/2010, instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 448, 323, 324, 326 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

In the written report, it is alleged that when the informant and his family members were at his door, the accused persons including petitioner armed with different weapons arrived and started abusing the informant with regard to sale deed. On protest, accused persons assaulted his son. The petitioner is alleged to have given Chhura blow on the chest of son of informant, who died on the way to hospital.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53401 of 2018 (3) dt.01-10-2018 2/2 Report of the court below has been received, wherein it is mentioned that trial is likely to be concluded within six months. The court below is directed to conclude the same within aforesaid period by giving short adjournment. The petitioner is given liberty to renew his prayer for bail after six months in the event no substantive progress is made in trial.
