JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 10-10-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in Singhwara P.S. Case No. 190 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Sections 307, 323, 336, 341, 354, 498(A) and 504/34 of Indian Penal Code. Subsequently, Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code was added. In the Fard-e-beyan it is alleged that petitioner along with husband of the deceased namely, Vinay Thakur and his other family members caused burn injury on the person of the daughter of the informant namely Chandni Thakur (since deceased), on account of which, she became seriously injured. The informant went to sasural of her daughter on getting information and found that her daughter was not able to open her eyes. She had sustained serious injuries on her nose and other parts of the body. The

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55279 of 2018 (3) dt.10-10-2018 2/2 daughter of the informant subsequently died during course of treatment.

Case diary has been received.

Learned A.P.P. has submitted that victim girl (since deceased) has given statement in the ICU Unit of Appolo Burn Hospital which is mentioned in paragraph-26 of the case diary, wherein she has stated that this petitioner along with her husband has set her on fire after pouring kerosene oil over the body. The statement of victim girl (since deceased) was recorded in presence of Doctor as well as Sub Inspector of Agam Kuam Police Station. It bears thumb impression of the deceased.

Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected. Petitioner may renew the prayer for bail after nine months if no substantive progress is made in the trial. (Sanjay Priya, J) S.Ali/- U T
