Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh, CGC ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 14-12-2018 The petitioner seeks bail in connection with NCB Case No. 24 of 2018 registered under Sections 15, 25 and 29 of the N.D.P.S.Act, 1985.

Allegation is of recovery of 43 Kg. of Doda Posta from the petitioner and he has confessed also.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that recovered articles, even it is true, is less than commercial quantity and petitioner is in custody for more than seven months.

Heard learned counsel for the Central Government who has opposed the prayer of bail stating that recovered article is more than small quantity and further the prayer of bail of one of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.60564 of 2018(5) dt.14-12-2018 2/2 the co-accused has been rejected by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court.

Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of six months. (Vinod Kumar Sinha, J) sujit/- U T
