JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 10-10-2018 Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 7.9.2017 passed in Cr.Misc.No. 41331 of 2017 and petitioner is husband and case is of dowry death. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is in custody for two years and there is no substantive progress in trial till date.
Heard learned APP and from perusal of the report it appears that four witnesses have been examined for the rest steps have been taken for their appearance and within five months trial will be concluded.
Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and, if possible, by conducting it on regular basis so that the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.57674 of 2018 (3) dt.10-10-2018 2/2 trial may be concluded within a further period of five months from the receipt of this order.
