For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Advocate For the Respondent/s : Mr. Naval Kishore Singh, AC to GP-26 ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 20-08-2016 The petitioner was appointed as a Literate Constable in Police Department on 28.08.1965 and retired from the post of Sub-Inspector of Police, Supual on 31.03.2007. The petitioner fairly submits that he has been paid all his other retiral dues save and except some part of the provident fund amount. The petitioner has also made some grievance that the deductions made prior to 1973 to 1978, has also not been taken into consideration while calculating the provident fund amount.

Patna High Court CWJC No.10504 of 2014 (3) dt.20-08-2016 2/2 To be specific, though the interest has been calculated upto September, 2007, in my view, the petitioner would be entitled to payment of interest till the date on which the actual payment is made. The petitioner would raise his grievance before the Director, Provident Fund, Bihar, Patna, who would dispose of his claim after providing a personal hearing, within a period of four months from the date of making of such representation by the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ application is disposed of.
