2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 385/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. Petitioner Munmun Singh @ Munchun Singh @ Munchun Kumar Singh has antecedent of eight cases but the petitioner has been acquitted in four cases. Petitioner Baliram Singh has clean antecedent. It is also submitted that the petitioners and the informant are political rival and filed cases against each other. It is next submitted that the informant alleged that on 22.07.2022 at about 8:30 AM, the accused persons including the petitioners along with others came at his door and started demanding rupees five lacs by way of ransom. Thereafter, it is alleged that petitioner fired but missed. Thereafter, the other accused persons also fired but they missed. It is next alleged that the informant was threatened that if the ransom of rupees five lacs was not paid he will have to face the consequences.
The learned counsel submits that the dispute is purely political from bare perusal of the allegation as alleged in the FIR though there is allegation of firing but then no one was injured. It is next submitted that learned coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 29.04.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.71877 of 2022 was pleased to grant anticipatory bail to Mithilesh Kumar Ray.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposes the prayer of anticipatory bail application of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43037 of 2023(2) dt.17-08-2023 3/3 petitioners.
5. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on anticipatory bail in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Chapra, Saran/Successor Court in connection with Khaira (Nagra) P.S. Case No.282 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
