2. The petitioner who has been appointed as a member of Juvenile Justice Board, Banka is aggrieved by the fact that for several months, her remuneration has not been paid.

3. It has further been submitted that the petitioner made a representation before the Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Bihar, Patna for payment of

However, it has been averred in the writ petition that on the representation preferred by the petitioner, the Additional Secretary-cum-Director wrote a letter to the District Magistrate, Banka for taking appropriate steps for making available to the petitioner the honorarium to which she is entitled but the District Magistrate, Banka has not acted in this direction so far. The representation of the petitioner before the Principal Secretary, State Child Protection Committee, Patna also has gone unheeded.

The petitioner under the aforesaid circumstances is directed to make a representation before the Principal Secretary, Social and Welfare Department, Government of Bihar, Patna (respondent no. 2) within a period of four weeks, stating in detail the months for which she has not been paid her honorarium and the concerned respondent shall after verifying the facts pass necessary orders in accordance with law and if the claim of the petitioner is found to be tenable, would also ensure that

5. With the aforesaid direction/observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
