2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 494 of 2023 for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 341, 323, 498(A), 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, lodged by the complainant Sabana Khatoon.
3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that she had married to this petitioner on 17.05.2022 and after living peacefully together for one year, the allegation is that the petitioner started demanding of Rs.70,000/ and due to non-
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41033 of 2025(3) dt.25-07-2025 2/2 fulfillment of the said demand, she was ousted of her matrimonial home after taking her belongings. Accordingly, the complaint.
4. On 09.07.2025, the petitioner after giving undertaking that he will taking his wife to his work place, disappeared.
5. Today again, they were present in the Court and once again, an undertaking was given that he shall be taking the lady. However, it is for the second time that he left Patna High Court without taking his wife earlier being on 09.07.2025, in that background, and considering the allegation that is against him, the anticipatory bail application stands rejected.
6. The interim protection granted to the petitioner stands vacated and office to do needful to immediately inform the concerned court.
