The petitioner seeks bail in Uchakagaon P.S. Case No. 117 of 2018, instituted for the offences under Section 366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the minor daughter of the informant has been enticed away by the petitioner and Govinda Mahato with intention to perform marriage and she is traceless till date. Case diary has been received.

Learned counsel for the State has submitted that from the case diary, it appears that victim is still traceless. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that victim girl has love affair with son of petitioner. But there is no supporting document for the same.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53479 of 2018(3) dt.05-10-2018 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts that the victim girl is still traceless, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage.

However, petitioner is given liberty to renew his prayer for bail after six months in the event, no substantive progress is made in trial.
