2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Hathua P.S. Case No. 1/2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323/448/354(B)/379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the allegation made in the FIR, the petitioner outraged the modesty of the informant and thereafter along with his father assaulted the family member of the informant. The informant, due to the deep shock, died on 06.01.2023.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56419 of 2024(4) dt.10-02-2025 2/2 petitioner submitted that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Petitioner has clean antecedent and he is in custody since 06.03.2024.
5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant and learned APP appearing for the State vehemently opposed the bail prayer of the petitioner.
6. Having considered the rival submissions made on behalf of the parties, as well as, the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the present bail application stands dismissed.
