The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 325 of 2017 registered for the offences under Sections411, 418, 419, 420, 327, 328, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation against the petitioner is that she along with her husband and other accused persons have formed a gang, which engages in cheating the innocent passengers either travelling in the train or coming out from the railway station.

The police had recovered a sum of Rs. 49,500/- from house of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as far as the present petitioner is concerned, she has a clean antecedent and she was neither apprehended from the spot nor any stolen articles have been recovered from her person.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.45580 of 2017 (2) dt.19-09-2017 In the facts and circumstances of the present case, I deem it fit and appropriate to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 325 of 2017.
