The petitioner is the husband of the victim and is facing prosecution under Section 304 B of the IPC. Within two years of marriage, she was done to death in suspicious circumstance while living on 'Sasural'.

It has been stated that the victim was pregnant and died due to the complications developed during her pregnancy. Learned counsel for the State opposed the prayer and submits that only few days before some of the family members of the victim had visited and had seen assault on her by the petitioner and other family members. Few days thereafter she was done to death.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.50860 of 2017(2) dt.09-11-2017 2/2 Prayer for bail is rejected.
