The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Panapur PS case no. 70 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 386, 387 of Indian Penal Code and Section 17 of C.L. Act.

The allegation is with regard to one Vishal having demanded a sum of Rs. 50,000/- from the informant over telephone and the said mobile is said to have been recovered from Ravilal Sahani. It is further alleged that the said Ravilal Sahani had disclosed the name of some persons as accomplice in the instant occurrence and one of them is said to be the petitioner herein.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has clean antecedent, is in custody since 22.05.2017

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39341 of 2017 (2) dt.19-08-2017 2/2 and there is no material on record to connect him with the alleged crime.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and appropriate to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of A.C.J.M.-4 Saran at Chapra in connection with Panapur PS case no. 70 of 2017.
