JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 03-07-2017 The present petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of Secretary Gram Kachhari after cancelling the appointment of respondent no. 7.
2. None appears on behalf of the petitioner despite repeated calls. Though learned counsel for the State as well as learned counsel for respondent no. 7 are present and have been heard.
3. A perusal of the writ petition discloses that the petitioner has already approached the District Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur on 04.10.2007 and her complaint number is 189. A further representation
Patna High Court CWJC No.7198 of 2008 dt.03-07-2017 2/2 before the District Magistrate has also been filed whereupon the District Magistrate has called for a report from the Block Development Officer. The report of the Block Development Officer dated 14.01.2008 has since been submitted but the matter is still pending at the end of the District Magistrate. The aforesaid facts are not in dispute by the respondents.

In the above view of the matter, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur to consider the petitioner's complaint/representation as also the report of the Block Development Officer as contained in letter no. 26 dated 14.01.2008 (Annexure-4) and dispose of the matter on its own merit expeditiously, if not already disposed of, considering that the matter is now almost a decade old.
