This is an application for regular bail in connection with Triveniganj P.S. Case No. 14 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 409 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against petitioner, who is the Panchayat Secretary, is that he had withdrawn an amount of Rs. 12,34,9,425.00 from the Block Treasury but has not submitted the voucher for adjustment/expenditure of said amount. Allegation is of temporary embezzlement of said amount. It has been submitted by the petitioner that all the money which was withdrawn has been
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55238 of 2018 (3) dt.12-09-2018 distributed among the beneficiaries and spend for the purpose for which it was withdrawn and he will submit the account at the earliest to the competent authority. He undertook that he will submit accounts of all the money to which was being withdrawn from the Block Treasury after giving vouchers and bills of the expenditure made by him.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-1st, Supaul in connection with Triveniganj P.S. Case No. 14 of 2018.
