2. Heard the parties.

3. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief/s:

(i) for the issuance of an appropriate writ to correct the Jamabandi of the disputed land in name of the petitioners;

(ii) for the issuance of an appropriate writ to quash the Jamabandi No. 1775/1 volume 18

Patna High Court CWJC No.12351 of 2025(2) dt.04-08-2025 2/3 with respect to the disputed land in name of the State of Bihar on the basis of Sahari Bhuhadbandi case No. 89/82 State Vs. Yugal Singh vide letter No. 168/26.8.2003;

(iii) for the issuance of an appropriate writ holding that the acquisition of the disputed land under Urban Land Ceiling Case No.

89/82, State Vs. Yugal Singh Vide letter No.

168/26.8.2003 is quite illegal and fit to be quashed;

(iv) for the issuance of any other appropriate. writ/order/direction as your lordships may deem fit and proper of the ends of justice.

3. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioners submit that he shall be pursuing the matter before respondent no. 4, the Land Reforms Deputy Collector, Patna in line with the letter no. 493 dated 14.01.2025 issued by the Circle Officer, Patna, Sadar to the office.

4. Learned State counsel submits that the concerned respondent shall see to it that the matter shall be taken to its logical conclusion.

5. In that background, this Court disposes of the writ petition directing the concerned respondent to take up the matter and decide the case of the petitioners by 31.03.2026. (Rajiv Roy, J) Ravi/- U
