This is an application for bail in connection with Barachatty P.S. Case No. 166 of 2014, corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 4 of 2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20 & 22 of N.D.P.S. Act.

Allegation against the petitioner is of recovery of 12 kg. of ganja from his possession.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has falsely been implicated in this case and he is in custody for nine months.

Heard learned APP also.

Having heard both sides and in view of recovery of huge quantity of ganja from the possession of petitioner, I am not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.37228 of 2017 (3) dt.05-09-2017 2/2 inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

As he is in custody for the last nine months, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of nine months.
