Archana Kumari @ Archana Devi who had been elected as Ward Councilor for Ward No. 15 of Purnia Municipality in the election held in the year 2007 on the ground that she had filed false affidavit before the Returning Officer stating therein that she is a registered voter only in Ward No. 15 of Purnia Municipality whereas she was also registered as voter in Panchayat Chairiya in Baisi Circle of Purnia District at Sl. No. 36 with voter identity card no. CQP1362680.

Patna High Court CWJC No.4329 of 2008 dt.10-09-2018 2/2 Since the term for which the respondent no. 4 was elected has already ended in the year 2012, the writ petition has become infructuous.

In that view of the matter, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
