Petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Muzaffarpur Sadar P.S. Case No. 279 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B) and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant who is the father of the deceased has alleged that petitioner (father-in-law) along with other family members killed his daughter due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that deceased was living happily with her in-laws. There is general and omnibus allegation against this petitioner.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54266 of 2018(3) dt.05-10-2018 2/2 Allegation of demand of dowry is false. He has no concern about the dispute between husband and wife. Deceased has committed suicide by hanging herself. He has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 28.04.2018. Considering the aforesaid fact and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur in connection with Muzaffarpur Sadar P.S. Case No. 279 of 2018.
