The petitioner is in custody in connection with Ashok Paper Mill P.S. Case No. 49 of 2019, G.O. Case No. 427 of 2019 for the offenses under Section 30(a), 32(2), 41(I) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. In the instant case total 225 ltrs of liquor was recovered. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has no concern with the liquor recovered. Nothing has been recovered from his conscious possession. The petitioner is in custody since 01.05.2019.
