Having regard to the fact that neither the father of the petitioner was holding a Government post nor this Court after 15 years of the alleged death of the father of the petitioner is even otherwise inclined to now issue any direction for appointment of the petitioner on compassionate ground because he does not fulfil the requirement under the Government policy on compassionate ground, the prayer of the petitioner has to be essentially rejected. That being so, this writ application is, accordingly, dismissed.
