The petitioner is in custody in connection with K.Hat (Madhubani) P.S. Case No. 217 of 2020 for the offenses under Sections 461, 379, 336 IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. The name of the petitioner surfaced on the confessional statement of co-accused. The petitioner is in custody since 3.5.2020.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, his name surfaced on the confessional statement of co-accused and he is in custody since 3.5.2020, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner subject to deposit of cash of Rs. 50,000/-.
