The petitioner prays for bail in connection with Laheri P.S.Case No. 72 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 365 and 366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is of kidnapping of minor daughter of the informant.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the statement of victim girl recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. shows that she had left the house because there was some quarrel with her mother and she was kidnapped by the petitioner and the girl has been recovered from petitioner and Rahul and petitioner is in custody since 21.3.2018 and co-accused Ganesh Kumar has been granted bail vide order dated 2.7.2018 in Cr.Misc.No. 37225

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54772 of 2018 (3) dt.12-10-2018 2/2 of 2018 and there is no specific allegation against the petitioner. Heard learned APP also, who has opposed the prayer for bail.

Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
