The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 15.06.2017 in Special Case No.2696 of 2017 arising out of Nadi P.S.Case No.41/17 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a), 36 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, has prayed for grant of bail.
By way of referring to the statement made in paragraph no.3 of the petition, it was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is having clean antecedent, however on accusation of recovery of huge quantity of Indian Make Foreign Liquor from a vehicle, on which the petitioner was driver, the petitioner has been made accused.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39607 of 2017 (2) dt.19-08-2017 2/2 Considering the nature of accusation, clean antecedent as well as period of custody, let the petitioner, namely, Mohit Kumar be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-( ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna in connection with Special Case No.2696/2017 arising out of Nadi P.S. Case No.41/17.
