The petitioner seeks regular bail in registered for the offences punishable under sections 379/307/34 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is alleged to have poured acid on the face and back of the informant causing acid injuries on his body. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is likelihood of false implication of the petitioner as informant and petitioner are cousin and a land dispute is pending between them and a process of section 107 Cr.P.C. is also going on between the parties. Petitioner has got clean antecedent as stated in paragraph 3 of the bail petition. Petitioner is in custody since 13.3.2021.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner is alleged to have poured acid on the face and back of the informant causing acid injuries on his body. During course of investigation, witnesses have supported
