It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that his father Jata Shankar Jha died in harness on 02.01.2010 while he was serving as clerk in Maharani Kalyani College, Darbhanga, a constituent unit of Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga. It is further contended that death cum post retiral dues has not been paid. It is also stated in the writ petition that younger brother and sisters have authorized him to receive payment which would evident from the affidavit. However, from perusal of the document, it does not appear that the same is affidavit on behalf of the Suman Kasyap, Lalita Devi

Be that as it may, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the Registrar, L.N. Mithila University to look into the claim of the petitioner and if death cum post retiral dues of late Jata Shankar Jha have not been calculated and paid, let the same be calculated and paid to the person who is entitled to receive the same within a period of four months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
