JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 03-05-2021 Heard Mr. Shanti Bhushan Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Excise Case No. 13 of 2020 and Excise G.R. No. 142 of 2020, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

In view of the recovery of five (5) litres of liquor from the Varandah of the house of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him. The prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
