The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Barahiya P. S. Case No. 132 of 2020, dated 09.06.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39172 of 2020(2) dt.03-05-2021 2/3 A dead-body was found thrown on the road.

Later, one person by the name of Vikash Kumar was arrested and on whose confession, the name of the petitioner has transpired in this case.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the prosecution of the petitioner is only based on suspicion and on the confession of an arrested accused person who later has been granted bail by a Bench of this Court vide order dated 23.03.2021, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 40508 of 2020.

The petitioner has clean antecedents.

Considering the afore-stated facts, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate,
