1. The present petition has been filed for restoration of a writ petition bearing CWJC No.18048 of 2021, which has stood dismissed on account of non-prosecution, by an order dated 21.02.2024.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had approached the present counsel after taking no objection from his earlier counsel but in the meantime the

Patna High Court MJC No.1967 of 2024(2) dt.05-07-2024 2/2 aforesaid writ petition had stood dismissed for default by the aforesaid order dated 21.02.2024 inasmuch as by that time the present counsel could not file his vakalatnama, resulting in his name not being depicted in the daily cause list, leading to the present counsel being not able to appear before this Court when the case was taken up for hearing, thus, a sympathetic view be taken and the aforesaid writ petition petition be restored to its original file.

3. Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as also considering the averments made in the present petition, I deem it fit and proper to restore the aforesaid writ petition bearing CWJC No.18048 of 2021 to its original file.
