The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case under Section 385 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and under section 27 of the Arms Act.

The informant alleged that the petitioner along with others came and demanded extortion of Rs. one lac. It is alleged that one of the accused made indiscriminate firing and also hurled abusive language.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a student and no specific allegation is made against the petitioner.

Considering the allegation against the petitioner that

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40994 of 2015 (2) dt.06-10-2015 2/2 the petitioner along with other accused persons went to the house of informant, demanded extortion and made firing, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
