The petitioners seek bail in Jadopur P. S. Case No. 37 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.
It is alleged in the written report that two loaded country made pistol and several cartridges have been recovered from possession of petitioner no.1. Similarly, one loaded country made pistol and six live cartridges have been recovered from possession of petitioner no.2. Seizure list is part of the F.I.R.
From para 3 of the bail petition, it appears that
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56433 of 2018(3) dt.05-11-2018 2/2 petitioners have criminal antecedent. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at this stage. The prayer for bail of the petitioners stand rejected.
Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and make efforts to conclude the same as early as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
Petitioners are given liberty to renew prayer for bail after six months in the event no substantial progress is made in the case.
