A limitation petition has been filed by the petitioner for condoning the delay occurred in filing the present revision application, but no sufficient cause has shown by the petitioner for condoning the delay.

The petitioner was convicted under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code by the trial court for one year rigorous imprisonment by judgment dated 28.02.1994 passed in Trial No. 138 of 1994. In appeal, the conviction was upheld by the appellate court vide judgment and order dated 28.05.2009, however, the sentence was reduced to six months. The petitioner remained absconder and declared as such by the court, thereafter he was apprehended by the police pursuant to execution of permanent warrant of arrest on 14.07.2017. So this revision application is not
