2. The present contempt application has been filed for non compliance of the order dated 03.02.2005 passed in C.W.J.C. No.1237 of 2000, whereunder this Court while allowing the said writ application, given direction to the Respondents to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner for grant of regular promotion with effect from 31.12.1993 in the pay scale of District Agriculture Officer with effect from 31.12.1993.

3. Learned AC to AAG-XI appearing on behalf of the

Patna High Court MJC No.232 of 2014 dt.11-02-2015 2/2 State submits that in C.W.J.C. No.19114 of 2012, this Court has stayed the meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee (D.P.C.) till further orders. Thereafter, in compliance of the order, the General Administration Department (G.A.D.) issued a letter no.11218 dated 12.08.2014, the meeting of the D.P.C. has been postponed. In the present matter, an opinion of General Administration Department was sought by the department. The General Administration Department in the light of the opinion of the Law Department has instructed to convene the meeting of D.P.C. for complying with the order but that would be subject to the final outcome of C.W.J.C. No.19114 of 2012. It is further submitted that the aforesaid facts has clearly been stated in paragraphs-9 and 10 of the show cause dated 20.01.2015 filed on behalf of the opposite party no.2.

4. In view of the submission of the learned AC to AAGXI appearing on behalf of the State, I find no reason to keep this contempt application pending further. Accordingly, this contempt application as well as I.A. No.8200 of 2014 filed for condoning the delay in filing the present contempt application stands disposed of. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) P.S./- U
