The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 53 of 2016 registered under Sections 498A, 323, 341, 504, 406, 34 of the I.P.C. and 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act pending in the Court of A.C.J.M., Sasaram. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner, who happens to be the husband of the informant, has falsely been implicated in this case.

Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner with submission that there is direct allegation of demand of dowry and assault against the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52450 of 2016 (5) dt.26-04-2017 2/2 petitioner.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of the allegation, I am not inclined to allow the prayer of the petitioner for anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this application is rejected.
