The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Motihari Town P.S. Case No. 386 of 2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 258, 259, 260, 467, 468, 471 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The informant, Advocate-cum-Notary, District Bar Association, Motihari alleged that the petitioner came with some stamps and non-judicial stamps and requested the informant to put signature thereon. When the informant verified the stamps and those papers, it transpired that those papers were fabricated and fake but the petitioner fled away from there. It appears that 67 Advocate Welfare Stamps, 22 of Rs.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39727 of 2016 (2) dt.19-09-2016 2/2 100/- Franking stamps, 7 of Rs. 20/- Court-fee stamps and 550 Adhesive stamps were put before the informant for signature. The petitioner is in the habit of circulating fake stamps and nonjudicial stamps. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
